Yesterday I taught my first lesson! The students are obviously trying to see what they can get away with while I am their teacher. The students came in late, were loud, and it took a while to start. I began the lesson telling them that as long as they listened to me and did their homework, we would not have any problems. They apparently were not listening. I had to correct them multiple times for talking or passing notes and I had to kick out a student who was doing her work with a chameleon on her hand. She looked at me like I was the scum of the Earth for making her and her chameleon leave the classroom. I think that by the end of the class the students hopefully learned that they will not be able to do whatever they want and they will need to listen to me and follow the rules. I will be teaching them again this afternoon so I will soon find out! Although it was a little rocky, I did enjoy my first lesson and am looking forward to improving as the weeks go on!Lets celebrate This is your moment, this is your moment This is the time, this is the time To get it right tonight, to get it right You don’t wanna let the moment pass you by So common and take this one in a photograph Everything I made as right, I made as loud The night is young and we raise our glass We’ll make it count like the best one we ever had The best one yet, the best one yet "The Best One Yet" - Black Eyed Peas
